Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Mailwren mobile application (the "App"). By downloading, accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. The service

Mailwren is an email client that lets you connect one or more third-party email accounts (such as Gmail, Outlook, iCloud, Office 365 and AOL) and read, write, send, organize and search your mail in one place. The App also provides AI-assisted features that help you draft, summarize and translate email.

2. Eligibility and accounts

• You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction, to use the App.
• You are responsible for the email accounts you connect and for keeping your device and credentials secure.
• You must have the right to access any email account you connect to Mailwren.

3. Connecting email accounts

To provide its features, Mailwren needs your permission to access the email accounts you connect. For Google accounts this is granted through the https://mail.google.com/ scope during Google sign-in. You may disconnect an account, or revoke access from your provider's account settings, at any time. Your use of each connected service is also subject to that provider's own terms and privacy policy.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the App to:

• Send spam, phishing, malware or other unlawful, harmful or deceptive content;
• Violate any applicable law or the rights of others;
• Access accounts or data you are not authorized to access;
• Interfere with, disrupt, reverse engineer or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or its systems;
• Use the App in a way that harms, overloads or impairs the service or any connected provider.

Your email and the content you create remain yours. Mailwren does not claim ownership of your messages. You grant us only the limited permissions necessary to operate the App's features for you, as described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Intellectual property

The App, including its software, design, branding and content (excluding your email and your content), is owned by Mailwren and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell or lease any part of the App except as permitted by these Terms or applicable law.

8. Third-party services

The App relies on third-party services, including email providers and AI processing providers. We are not responsible for the availability, content, or practices of those third-party services, and your use of them is governed by their respective terms.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mailwren and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of data, messages, profits or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the App.

11. Termination

You may stop using the App and disconnect your accounts at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to the App if you breach these Terms or if necessary to protect the service or its users.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
